gumboots and dandelions

I almost forgot to blog this shoot which took place at the end of November. It was a lovely time of the year to do pics as we had the warm glow of summer upon us without the humidity which was yet to come. Lucky me for happening upon a a lovely location for something different for this shoot. I have know this family a long while and this gorgeous girl was just a baby when I first photographed her. Its been a journey of sorts, and while I was developing my skill and taking shoot upon shoot over the years the baby girl turned into a lovely little lady. I love her coyness that comes with no airs and graces and that rather shy smile that has to be coaxed from her but is so endearing to witness.
